Vancouver

Whale watching safari

Trips on comfy, high-speed boats run daily between April and October and last from 4-6 hours depending on conditions. Orca or Killer whales are found in the water off Vancouver at this time of year and the chances of sightings are 85%. Additionally, other marine wildlife such as porpoises, seals and sea lions are visible as well as bald eagles.

Seaplane Tours

There are options to suit different budgets, which include amazing aerial vistas over downtown Vancouver and the surrounding inlets and mountains.

It is also possible to travel with local inhabitants on the regular flights to the nearby Gulf Islands.

 

 

 

 

Day trip to Vancouver Island

Take the ferry through the beautiful Gulf Islands to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia.

A guided tour takes in the main attractions of this picturesque city including the Inner Harbour, Parliament building and Butchart Gardens. This tour can also be combined with a return by seaplane from Victoria to Vancouver.

Whistler

Black Bear Watch

In the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains there are about 50 Black bears and this excursion in 4×4 vehicles covers meadows, streams and forests to explore sites frequented by them. It also includes short walks and the possibility of seeing other wildlife such as western hoary marmots, Coastal Mountain black-tailed deer and ruffed grouse.

Zip Trek Tour

Enjoy amazing aerial views of ancient coastal rainforests as you take this 2 hour tour along 5 zip wires and 4 suspension bridges in the treetops.

Riding up to 200ft above the forest floor, for distances close to 2000ft, you will reach speeds approaching 50mph so this tour is not for the faint hearted.

 

 

 

Blackcomb Glacier Jeep Safari

Get to see places other vehicles cannot reach on this 2 hour adventure safari by jeep up the mountain and onto the snow and ice of the Blackcomb Glacier.

Jasper

Maligne Lake & Canyon

Enjoy the true beauty of this spectacular valley with a sightseeing tour that includes a stop at Maligne Canyon and a boat cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island, one of western Canada’s most recognised images. The valley is also a haven for wildlife and it is possible to spot bears, big horn sheep and elk to name a few.

Columbia Icefields Tour

A ride on an Ice Explorer on to the Athabasca Glacier is a highlight of the tour. Banff

Discover Grizzly Bears

This full day tour includes lunch at Canada’s highest restaurant on Kicking Horse Mountain, and a visit to Kicking Horse Grizzly Bear Refuge. There is also the opportunity to enjoy mountain top trails and a gondola ride, as well as stops at Lake Louise and Takakkaw Falls.

Bow River White Water Rafting/River Float
